Kingdom's Edge Communications
Wolcott, Vermont

Allow us to introduce ourselves…

We are Dan and Amy Noyes. We live and work in Wolcott, just outside the boarder of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.  Between us we offer clients a wealth of experience in media and marketing. We foster a sense of stewardship for our natural environment. Part of our mission is to help businesses and government entities learn to “be green.”

Experience Talks…

Between us we have worked the marketing game on many fronts. Our combined experience includes expertise in print, radio and television news; broadcasting and print advertising; website design and corporate marketing. Dan has served as webmaster for retail, manufacturing, nonprofit and governmental entities. His clients include the News & Citizen, The Body Lounge and the Lamoille Regional Solid Waste District.   Dan also teaches website design to small business owners and other adult learners through the adult education program at Green Mountain Technology and Career Center. Dan has extensive trade show experience, including representing environmental tourism in Vermont at a series of travel writers’ conventions. Both Dan and Amy have worked as corporate marketing directors, playing to an international audience. We have designed marketing materials including brochures, posters, flyers and direct mailers. Amy has worked as a publicist and in print and broadcast advertising. As a journalist, she has worked in radio, television and newsprint. She has also contributed to regional specialty publications such as Vermont Homestyle Magazine and Kids VT. Amy is currently on staff at the News & Citizen and The Transcript.

In addition to helping clients get their message out, we strive to identify and maximize opportunities for businesses to work in harmony with the environment.  With manufacturers, for example, this has included redesigning product packaging and shipping materials. We have found promoting environmentally friendly practices; such as reusing, reducing and recycling; can make our clients more attractive to educated consumers.

Education Matters…

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Dan has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science from Johnson State College. Both have continued their education through seminars and courses in writing, technology, marketing and public relations.

Who you know…

We work with the movers and shakers in the Lamoille Valley every day. We are welcomed as familiar faces in local schools, municipal offices and area businesses. Pit our connections to work for you!

On the side…
Dan is Chair of the Wolcott Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Adjustment. He also serves as President of the Lamoille River Anglers. Amy sits on the Board of Directors for Green Up Vermont, the nonprofit organization that promotes and support’s the annual statewide Green Up Day effort, the first Saturday in May.
